Why Pro Players Are Terrified of the Fiendish Panda MTG is a disruptive threat. It is a colorless primate that can copy a nonland permanent and force opponents to lose tempo. Studies indicate this flexible body and instant speed effect make it a dreaded tech answer in competitive formats.
How It Turns Matches Around Opponents expect removal, not a face tempo swing. By copying a key blocker or spell, it preserves your board and resets their plan. Research shows this adaptable effect fuels both control and combo strategies, keeping opponents on edge.
